Improviser Fails to Hide Pregnancy Behind Her Object Work Laundry Basket

Area famous improv team “Wet Paint” is dealing with something no other improvisers have before- pregnancy. And not a last minute plot twist stage pregnancy because your team is full of bad improvisers. A real one. A real sexual escapade happened to local improviser Haley Fring and now she is carrying a future improviser within, although she hopes they go into something lucrative like restaurant management or electrical engineering. Now, usually when an actress starring in a popular television series gets pregnant, they can hide the pregnancy behind baggy clothes, a big potted plant, or perhaps they sequester her in jury duty and replace her with Megan Fox for a little bit. But there are no props in improv besides our imagination. And imagination can’t make a pregnancy go away unfortunately. Only secretly dating a really rich married republican senator can do that.

“Wet Paint” is now receiving backlash for trying to sideline Fring.

“How is a pregnant woman supposed to play the prostitute or a little girl I can have a pedophilic teacher student relationship with” Says team captain Owen Thomas

“It would be one thing if she was just FAT, but she has a literal baby bump. It just makes the stage picture look wrong with that extra weight” -Team Member Ron Dusic

Fring responded by saying she wished her team would allow her to to fulfill every improvisers dream of giving birth on stage, but she understands the presence of a real baby is kind of taboo in the object work world of improv.

The team decided after being told by their director that if Haley goes, they all go. Also because the director is Haley’s roommate and doesn’t want to cause a hostile environment for when the baby comes. She’s supposed to be the God Mother.

Fring’s baby is expected to be delivered on 3/19/2026, so Wet Paint will be on hiatus until then.
